In our field tests the Garrett GTAx550 out performed almost every other metal detector in it’s price range. Performing more like a high end machine than a mid prices, mid level metal detector.
We loved it’s easy to use controls and simple read out.
We didn’t care for this metal detectors jumpy, inaccurate target identification system. It’s discriminator is also a bit off compared to other metal detectors.
